Taking a boat trip to the Bahamas?

Is it possible to rent a boat from somewhere in new jersey preferably and ride the boat from NJ to the Bahama’s? How long would that trip take and would it be a reasonable price or more expensive then flying and staying in a hotel?

You could do that but it would be a private boat so your looking at $$$$$ it’s cheaper to fly even if you fly air canada to toronto they have seat sales for $69.00 and connect onto westjet does $99.00 seat sales from toronto.
