What are the best places in Cabo for a young family that is NOT a large hotel/resort? beach, Pool, Clean.?
Anywhere that I can get to from Cabo Airport will work.
Hola! If you don’t want to stay at a monster resort, then I recommend staying at a condo in the town of San Jose del Cabo about 10 minutes from the airport. Some of the best are called La Jolla, Club La Costa, and Laguna Vista, Mykonos, El Zalate.
Cabo Airport is about 20 minutes outside of Cabo and closer to the town of San Jose del Cabo. San Jose del Cabo is more quaint and quieter, and is very nice. I live here. You and your family can enjoy the restaurants and shopping, as well as find lots of stuff to do on the beach and safe walk into town. Cabo is the party town, so you will run into more spring break like stuff at the beaches and bars there.
Condo life makes more sense for families because there is laundry, tv, and you can cook. Feels like home.
