What is the best resort to stay at in sanibel island?

I’m going to Sanibel Island Florida with my friends and mom for about 4 days. we still don’t know what resort to stay at. your opinion? also some info about the island would help.

‘Tween Waters Inn is nice, like a previous post said, but if you want THE BEST RESORT, there is only one true answer, South Seas Plantaion, but you better have deep pockets.
