Accommodation in Athens, Greece?
We will be visiting Athens in September 2008 and listed the following possible accommodations in Athens:
What I need to know is the following:
1 – Is the hotel/Hostel in a save area for two woman alone traveling and
2 – is the location far from the tourist attractions?

Hotel Diethnes – Deoniou str
Chris & Soph Nothern Backpackers – Kritsas Maroyssi
Fivos – Athinas Monastiraki
Hotel Plaza – Alkyonidan Avenue, Voula

I honestly dont know about the above so i am going to answer the 2nd part of the question.
Athens is very safe for two women. According to Eurostats, Athens is currently the safest capital in Europe. As long as you use some common sense, there is nothing to worry about. Have fun! =)
