Which month did the Eel Pie island hotel burn down in 1971?

I have looked all over the internet and all people say is that is was burned down in 1971 but they never say the exact date or even the month that it happened in. I need this extra info for a bit in a piece of fiction I’m writing but I can’t find it anywhere.

I’m old enough to remember Eel Pie Island, (in fact I went there once, to see the Stones) but unfortunately my memory isn’t what it was! I think it’s a bit like the 60s – if you can remember, then you weren’t there!
