What is Your Impression about skopelos island from Greece, if you had been there?

Skopelos and the other Sporades are very beautiful, really green and with many small picturesque villages. I travelled there about 10 years ago while I was living in Greece. We went there in August though and the island was very busy with (mainly Greek) tourists and we had a struggle to find somewhere to stay. The people were wonderfully friendly though and a lovely old lady put us up in her kitchen!
