Has anyone stayed at the Oasis Boutique beach resort in Bali?
Is this hotel nice? we are thinking about getting married and staying here next year, any information would help.
its not a very good hotel. trust me. its too crowded with family and small kids for honeymooners. and they charge for internet service since may be you might need one. they just have a private beach, and you might prefer the oasis nusa dua rather than the oasis kuta.
the only hotel thats recommended for honeymooners and wedding is in samaya, is in seminyak, I know its expensive, but its worth it to stay. though seminyak and kuta area is dirty, full of prostitutes and pimp, crimes.
other than that, you may choose ubud, ubud is very safe, and its totally bali, 1h drive from the airport. ubud is the most famous location to shop, dine, and wedding, the nice shop you can buy your simple wedding dress there in ubud is BONG’S located at monkey forest st. its famous among the parisian people, and many people that having a wedding in bali. ubud is voted as top 100 destination in the world. you might want to spend your money here. its really worth it.
hotel in ubud that you must give a try. Komaneka, kupu kupu barong, alila, and four season. alila has the most reasonable price and the place is ssooo beautiful!! they have shuttle if you want to go somewhere. dont try adi cottages I know its cheap, but its disgusting, I dont think they washed their linen. I went there during the high seasons and didnt get a room, the only available room is in adi cottages, i run away early in the morning.
I don’t know how much your budget, but there is a lot of nice budget hotels in bali more nicer. I dont recommend kuta for honeymooners or getting married, too many sickening people in kuta. seriously.
but what kind of people you are, young like to get high and crazy, if its so then kuta is the place to get high.
but if you wanting some place thats calm, loving, and safe than its ubud.
if you’re going on the mei – sept. you better reserve your room months ahead.
