What are the Disney resort hotels in Florida really like?
Are they really worth paying the extra money to stay in or are they just like any other hotel in Florida just on the Disney plot? Also, does anyone have any opinions about best and worst Disney Hotels?
If safety is an issue, Disney has a lot of security.
I’ve stayed in Kissimmee, it was like staying in any city. We had to deal with the traffic.
I’ve stayed in Lake Buena Vista, off property, (Walt Disney World is actually in Lake Buena Vista). It was all right, but we were right next to I-4.
I’ve stayed on International Dr. and it was very noisy where we were. There’s a lot of attractions on International Dr.
The traffic was also terrible.
Staying at a Disney Resort, is like staying on a different “World.” The hotels are very clean and kept up really well. I can’t say the same for any of the off property resorts.
Also, Walt Disney World is the size of San Francisco, so there is plenty to do!
