How do i get my trip donated?
Hi,
I’m dreaming to go to tahiti/French Polynesia, but unfortunately cant afford it. Is there any way i can receive a donation from some company? Or is there an opportunity to get a job as a russian speaking guide?

I think you have at least two options:
Come up with some original idea (getting there by raft is not original anymore) and find a sponsor. That’s how Thor Heyerdahl, Aleksey Konyuhkov, Dmitry Shparo et al. traveled. Manufacturers of travel-related merchandise do sponsor people to test new products (if you are an unknown person) and to promote existing ones (if your name is well known, but then money should not be a problem).
If you speak English, French and Russian, maybe you do have a chance to get a job as a guide. Then try travel agencies in Russia first. Or find a job there through Internet that would justify the trip (don’t ask them for the money!), then borrow money for the tickets and go. I’ve heard that Air Tahiti has cheap flights from France and U.S.
