tahiti features some of the most beautiful island resorts in the world as anyone who loves island holidays will well know.  The Moorea Pearl resort is another outstanding example of beautiful Pearl island resorts, located   within walking distance of the small town of Maharepa, where there were restaurants, shops and a supermarket.

The over water bungalows are on a reef wall ensuring excellent  snorkeling about the reef which is alive with colorful, tropical fish.  The rooms have their own ‘dock’ and outdoor shower.

You can also choose a beach bungalow  across a little stretch of water  so if you don’t do the overwater one, where you can have a garden bure with a pool.

Apart from the 20 over-water bures and beach bungalows, the least expensive units are 30 spacious hotel rooms in two-story blocks away from the lagoon. They all have king-size beds and balconies or patios, and eight family rooms add two single beds. Big thatched roofs cover a large dining room and pool-level bar, which hosts Tahitian dance shows twice a week. The smallish beach and big infinity swimming pool serve as centers for numerous outdoor activities.
