why does humantarian organizations spent most of donors money on themselves?
i just see most of the organizations in my country renting big villas , hotels, driving grand cars,enjoying expensive foods in 5-star restaurants, keep travelling from country to country and being given high salaries and just keep photographing the poor and the ugliest pictures .. is it to be shown in their sites and magazines? i see nothing to be given to those in need on the ground .. is it suppose to be like this or what ? i just cant understand that ..
One thing we do before we donate to any charitable organization is determine how much of the money it collects goes to those it purports to help or serve.
It can be as little as 5 – 10%, or as much as about 85%. We don’t give to any charity that doesn’t spend most of it on its stated mission. We refuse to subsidize the villas, expensive cars, and fine dining with our donations.
